The PolyOpportunity is a global initiative by the House of Beautiful Business, aiming to craft a new narrative in response to the current polycrisis by fostering a life-centered economy. The program spans from March to June 2025 and includes four in-person events across different continents.

At the inaugural event in Berlin – the Berlin Salon – our Fellow and Program Chair of Futures of Capitalism Aris Komporozos-Athanasiou will deliver some remarks on the theme of post-truth capitalism, framing the conversations around 'crisis' and 'poly-opportunity' over the two days.

In the tradition of the Roaring Twenties, we examine the end of an old era and the beginning of a new one. We'll take a hard look at overlapping crises, from climate change and geopolitical rifts to the divisions that harden us and our fears of loss. But don't worry, it won't be completely bleak! New opportunities will shine light through the cracks. The Salon will transform into an intellectual rave, and we'll ultimately set a raucous and invigorating new agenda, letting our embodied knowledge lead the way.
