Hamburg Sustainability Conference: How to make food systems better for people and planet?

The Hall

At this pre-event of the Hamburg Sustainability Conference, we will present and discuss concrete ideas for resilient food systems with leading researchers and policy-makers.

About

Our current food system is flawed and creates substantial problems for human health, societies, and our planet. How can we raise the ambitions in climate and biodiversity negotiations to make the food system better for people and planet? This event will feature solution proposals by leading researchers and discuss them with policy-makers.

How can we make food systems better for the people and the planet?

We host this event in collaboration with the Hamburg Sustainability Conference (HSC). The HSC on October 7-8, 2024, was initiated by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the City of Hamburg and the Michael Otto Foundation. At the HSC, leading minds from politics, business, science and civil society plan the implementation of joint processes to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

More information about the HSC can be found here.
