Loss is a universal experience that most of us can identify with, the loss of a familiar way of life, the loss of home, the loss of a loved one. Using selected works of fiction THE NEW INSTITUTE fellow Maha Marouan will discuss the significance of loss in literature and how the articulation of loss in literature is ultimately an act of recovery.
