Bio
Ariane studied socio-economics and business administration in Hamburg, Stellenbosch (South Africa) and Cottbus-Senftenberg and has more than seven years of experience in consulting at EY (Ernst & Young) in Berlin, London and Hamburg.
She is passionate about turning ideas into products and services.
At EY, she focused on advising interdisciplinary innovation ecosystems in terms of strategy, financing and organisational/governance structures. Ariane expanded her focus in 2019 to advising largescale investment projects in terms of location strategy and investment incentives throughout Europe.
At THE NEW INSTITUTE the Hamburg-born Ariane is the project lead of "The New Hanse" and is working on the digital and sustainable transformation of the Hanseatic city with the team and the City of Hamburg.

What gives you hope?
A lot: People, communities and specifically children as well as nature.
Sometimes it is the big actions and movements, but often also the small moments, gestures, and encounters. -
How does change happen?
Change happens by people taking an action. And often only with a lot of perseverance. -
What inspires you?
People and communicating with them, art in all its variety and sometimes also silence.
