Bio
Sebastian is a curious and attentive innovator with many years of diverse professional experience in the field of Micromobility and Mobility-as-a-Service. He studied Mechanical Engineering at the TU Munich, which led him to design bicycles and bicycle related products and digital services. Prior to THE NEW INSTITUTE he worked for Hamburger Hochbahn as Innovation Manager and built an Innovation Consultancy called freifahrt and also hosted a podcast and published articles on mobility culture.
His eagerness to experiment around the connection between collective change on the outside and personal change on the inside and shaping more sustainable, livable and greener cities led him to THE NEW INSTITUTE.
At THE NEW INSTITUTE Sebastian is the Innovation Manager for the project "The New Hanse".

How does change happen?
When we humbly accept that each individual must follow his or her own path of transformation. And when we find new ways to address people on a deeper, emotional and spiritual level and get to know and learn to trust the wisdom of the body again. -
What inspires you?
Being in nature with an open heart and mind and having my inner world be mirrored by the outside world.
