Ferya is an interdisciplinary professional, who worked as a multimedia journalist for The Express Tribune newspaper in Pakistan for 6 years and is currently interested in research on urban and ecological issues. She studied mass communication in Karachi and Fayetteville, and urbanism in Stuttgart and Cairo; and has joined THE NEW INSTITUTE to work at the intersection of storytelling and change.
