About
Starting in January, we'll meet on the last Tuesday of every month at 6 pm to discuss the book of the month: what moved us, challenged us, puzzled us, or sparked new ideas.
We'll explore novels, short stories, and poetry. We'll even throw in a classic (yes, Middlemarch, we're looking at you!).
Here's the plan:
- January 28, 2025: Concerning the Future of Souls by Joy Williams
- February 25, 2025: Clear by Carys Davies
- March 25, 2025: Middlemarch by George Eliot (start stretching those reading muscles now)
- April 29, 2025: Revolutionary Petunias by Alice Walker
- May 27, 2025: The Empusium by Olga Tokarczuk
- June 24, 2025: A surprise title chosen by you, the Reading Club participants.
Conversations will be in English, but if German feels more comfortable, bring it along – languages are like books, the more the merrier!
Whether you're here for the joy of reading or the thrill of good company, this is your invitation to join us. Grab a book, mark your calendar, and let's read together!
Because let's face it – reading is better with friends.
- Address Warburgstraße 8, 20354 Hamburg
- Language English
