Anja studied economics and social sciences with a specialization in business administration at the Technical University of Dortmund. During her studies she worked as a student assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute, where she became fascinated by the interaction between business and science. She worked for various companies, including the Otto Group, Plath Ltd in Cyprus and most recently at a subsidiary of the Publicis Groupe.

Excited by the opportunity to work for social progress, Anja will take care of finance and accounting at THE NEW INSTITUTE.
