BIO

Gabrielle studied a Bachelor of International Studies at Macquarie University and a Master of International Relations at the University of Bremen and Jacobs University. She is very passionate about the idea that we need to go beyond GDP to measure progress and prosperity, and wrote her master‘s thesis on the topic of the Wellbeing Economy and the need for a shift away from the growth paradigm.

At THE NEW INSTITUTE, Gabrielle is the Program Coordinator for Governing the Planetary Commons and was previously Program Coordinator for Socio-Economic Transformation.

    That things are always changing: the reliability and universality of change.

  • How does change happen?
    When forces work in unison, with determination and perseverance, to propel alternative ideas and actions forward, which either supplement/enhance or outright challenge those of the status quo.
