Gabrielle studied a Bachelor of International Studies at Macquarie University and a Master of International Relations at the University of Bremen and Jacobs University. Before joining the Institute, Gabrielle worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Bremen on "The global development, diffusion and transformation of education systems". She wrote her master‘s thesis in 2021 on the topic of the Wellbeing Economy and the need for a shift away from the growth paradigm, later joining the institute as Coordinator of the program Socio-Economic Transformation, working in particular on the sub-project “Measuring Prosperity”.

At THE NEW INSTITUTE, Gabrielle is the Program Coordinator for Governing the Planetary Commons.
