Imade is the Executive Director of Tech Herfrica and Chief Operating Officer of Her Local Market, an e-commerce platform providing access to markets for women farmers and traders in Nigeria. With over 15 years of experience in public policy development, investment analysis, strategic planning, project and risk management, and organizational change management, Imade has worked with esteemed government agencies across Nigeria. Her impactful work in government earned her recognition as one of the most influential people of African descent in the politics and governance category. At Tech Herfrica, Imade focuses on bridging the gender digital divide and enhancing access to finance, markets, smartphones, and digital and financial literacy for rural women. Under her leadership, Tech Herfrica has designed and implemented programs that have significantly increased literacy, access to finance, and income for rural women and girls. Notably, its EquipHer4Growth initiative won the 2023 SDG Digital Game Changers Award in the People's category from the International Telecommunication Union and was nominated for the 2022 WSIS Prizes.

At THE NEW INSTITUTE, Imade is involved in the Africapitalism: Shared Entrepreneurship for Economic Development program in the Academic Year 2024/25.
