Scott Walker

BIO

Scott is the founding partner at Systemic Innovation, advising public and private sector clients on strategy, innovation, systems change, government relations, public policy, corporate affairs, research, and sustainability. He specializes in complex consulting solutions, helping clients implement strategies for positive social impact. Scott's career spans significant roles at the intersection of innovation and public affairs, collaborating with governments, corporations, scaleups, NGOs, and academic institutions. His educational background includes degrees in politics, law, international affairs, and public administration, plus postgraduate stduies and participation at the THNK School of Creative Leadership. Notable projects include co-authoring "Scaling in Africa," developing a data collaborative for high-growth firms in East Africa, and advising the governments on systems-related projects, SME growth and employment. His research has been presented at forums like Davos, the White House, and the UN.

At THE NEW INSTITUTE, Scott will be involved in the program Africapitalism: Shared Entrepreneurship for Economic Development.
