Colin is Peter Moores Professor of Management Studies at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. He is also a Fellow of the British Academy and a Fellow of the European Corporate Governance Institute. He researches in the fields of corporate finance, governance, regulation, and taxation. Alongside his academic work, he is active in many aspects of financial study and practice. Previously he served as a Director and Chairman of Oxera, one of the largest independent economics consultancies in Europe. His last book, Prosperity: Better Business Makes the Greater Good, offers a radical reformulation of our notions of business, its roles and responsibilities, and the way it operates.
